Over the coming days - and as we did in Naples - we will be posting images of the exhibtion as it hangs on the gallery walls here in Abertillery.

We'll be working our way around the gallery clockwise begining at the front of the gallery on the left, and so we start with Sonia Firlej

looking for gallery space in Risca and Bargoed!

Dear Wales-based people,

we're planning to set up two more galleries in the Valleys and we need your help! 

If you know a private landlord who has an empty shop in the centre of Risca and/or Bargoed and would like to rent to an art project, get in touch. 

We'd really appreciate your help, so please be so kind and spread the news.

exhibition updates

Hello everyone! 

Just to let you all know that today (Thursday the 21st) the exhibition will be open between 10.30 and 12.30, and after that will be closed due to an important meeting that we have to attend. 

We'll do our best to reopen in the afternoon around 4 (depending on public transport), but cannot guarantee that we'll be able to make it. Sorry to disappoint our potential visitors - hope to see you in the morning or on Friday. 

'dall'Esterno' is open till the 6th of September, so there's plenty of time.

We'd also like to let you know that, following advice from one of our visitors (thank you!), we added QR codes to the names of the artists featured in 'dall'Esterno', so now smartphone and tablet users visiting the gallery can scan them and see our photographers' portfolios right away!

We will soon start posting photos of the exhibition on the gallery walls, but before we do this we'd like to give our visitors a bit more time to see it in person.

Yesterday was the first full day of "dall'Esterno" in Abertillery - a big thanks to our first visitors and, most importantly, to the artists who made it happen: Yulia Kazban, Stanka Koleva, Alexandra Şoman, Migle Backovaite, Marina Frolova, Mariya Kozhanova and Sonia Firlej. Wish you could be here with us!
