Dear all,
below you'll find some more information about Alicja Crave's exhibition in English and in Welsh. The show will run until the 14th of February, Tuesday to Saturday, 11 to 18 - make sure you don't miss it! Images from the installation and opening coming soon.
"safe place" is a solo exhibition by Alicja Crave, a Polish-born artist and digital photographer based in France. In her work, Alicja uses long exposures, post-production tools, mixed media and drawings, giving her images a multi-dimensional and surreal feel. A lot of her work is conceptual and, using elements of performance, explores the issues of identity and representation.
You can find Alicja’s work on her page.
"safe place" is the first in a series of 9 exhibitions that will be organised in 2018 in 76m2, Pontypool by the*kickplate*project, with the support from the Arts Council of Wales, Torfaen Council's Arts Development and Pontypool Community Council.

Mae "lle diogel" yn arddangosfa unigol gan Alicja Crave, arlunydd a anwyd yn Pwyleg a ffotograffydd digidol o Ffrainc. Yn ei gwaith, mae Alicja yn defnyddio datguddiadau hir, ôl-gynhyrchu, cyfryngau cymysg a darluniau, sy'n roi teimladau aml-ddimensiwn a swrrealaidd i'w delweddau. Mae llawer o'i gwaith yn gysyniadol ac, gan ddefnyddio elfennau o berfformiad, yn archwilio materion hunaniaeth a chynrychiolaeth.
Gallwch ddod o hyd i waith Alicja ar ei tudalen.
"lle diogel" yw'r cyntaf mewn cyfres o 9 arddangosfa a drefnwyd yn 76m2 gan brosiect *kickplate* gyda chefnogaeth Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru, Datblygu Celfyddydau Cyngor Torfaen a Chyngor Cymuned Pont-y-pŵl.
