spring updates

Afternoon,

We've been quiet for a long while, we've had a very busy month and now we have some spring updates for you!

At the end of April, we closed Carmen Marchena Alonso's exhibition in 76m2. The show will travel to another location in the area this summer, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Stéphane Vendran's "summer passage" has been extended, so you can still catch it in Brynmawr's Market Hall Cinema for another week (the 20th of May).

We have also been working with a group of families from Fochriw, Cwm a Mynydd (part of EU-supported Rural Development Plan) and artist Tracey Moberly on a project of exhibition created through digital and analogue means centered around the community in Fochriw and the area around surrounding the village. The show will take place on the 23rd of May in Fochriw and we'll give you some more updates as soon as we can!

Finally, our new show, "remnants of light" by Canadian photographer Rebecca Cairns, is opening this Wednesday at 2, so come and joins us in 76m2 between 2 and 5 pm for drinks and a chat!

We also have an opening hours' update: due to cuts in bus services between our town and Pontypool, and one of us not driving, we will now have to change the gallery's opening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays to 10.30 to 17.30 instead of the usual 11 to 18. We're very sorry about this, but have no other option at the moment. Hopefully more regular service will resume in the near future!
